Lance Ware loads up the Box Score in Brazil
Lance Ware messed around and almost got a triple-double in his Brazilian debut.
The Kentucky forward is spending some of his offseason on an outreach trip to Brazil through Sports Reach, a program a few other Cats participated in previously. The 10-day service trip to three different cities includes at least four games. In Ware’s debut, he dominated.
Lance Ware scored 39 points, grabbed ten rebounds and snagged eight steals in a 96-93 overtime win. How about Lance?!?

In his two-year career Ware has played in 49 games, yet has never reached double-figures in the scoring column for the Cats. He exceeded double-figure rebounds twice as a true freshman, recording a career-high 13 boards vs. Mississippi State.
Lance was not the only Wildcat in action down in Brazil. His fellow New Jersey native, 5-foot-8 walk-on Kareem Watkins, knocked down 3-of-5 shots from long range to total nine points in the victory.
