We finally have a former Kentucky Wildcat on the NFL’s 2020 Pro Bowl roster.

Earlier this week on Wednesday, it was announced by the New Orleans Saints that offensive guard Larry Warford has been added to the NFC’s Pro Bowl roster in place of Zack Martin, who plays for the Dallas Cowboys and is unable to perform due to an injury.

Warford’s late addition made him the 10th Saint to make this year’s Pro Bowl roster. In total, New Orleans has 11 Pro Bowlers, just two behind the Baltimore Ravens record-setting 13 Pro Bowlers.

Now in his seventh NFL season, Warford has spent the previous three with the Saints, making the Pro Bowl all three times. He is only the second-ever Saint to make the roster his first three years with the franchise. Warford was a former third-round pick out of Kentucky back in 2013 and was a legendary player during his high school days at Madison Central.

During his 2019 campaign, Warford played in 15 out of 16 games for the Saints, missing Week 16 due to an injury. He is one of just three Saints players who appeared in at least 90 percent of the team’s offensive snaps and was a major factor in New Orleans only allowing 25 sacks all season – the third-lowest total in the league.

If you want to watch Warford live at the Pro Bowl, you can do so on Jan. 26 when he suits up in Orlando, FL for the NFC. The All-Star-esque game will be broadcasted live on ESPN.
