Leaked list of Kroger Field sounds submitted to 'EA Sports College Football' video game
Last week, Matt Brown of “Extra Points with Matt Brown” assured us the new EA Sports College Football video game is still targeting a summer 2023 release. (High five!) A relaunch of EA’s old NCAA Football franchise, the long-awaited return is expected to feature the University of Kentucky among its playable teams (high five!) so hang on just a little longer because soon you’ll be winning virtual Heisman trophies and national championships in your Kentucky dynasty.
When the game is finally released, each home stadium is expected to have unique sounds and audio from real-life gamedays, licensed to EA Sports for video game use. Today, our king, Matt Brown, fed the Big Blue Nation’s hunger for EA Sports College Football by leaking the list of Kroger Field-specific sounds the University of Kentucky submitted for the game.
They are:
— Pregame Part 1 & 2 – After team leaves the field before the team returns to start the game
— Air Raid Siren – immediately after UK touchdowns
— On On UK – this is our fight song. Played after scores and after air raid siren
— 3rd Down Coal Whistle – on third downs
— Law & Order SFX – on opposing team penalties
— Wildcat Growl – any UK first down or big play on offense/defense
— Random Band Songs: Hey Song, Trombone Cheer, Trumpet Cheer, War
— Postgame – My Old KY Home (alma mater)

Notably absent from the list are “Grove Street Party” and Marlana VanHoose singing the national anthem, but otherwise, it’s a good collection of Kroger Field sounds and I can’t wait to hear them on the game.
After nearly a decade of waiting, only one more year until it’s here. Until then, consider this fall and winter the senior season of high school for the All-SEC QB you’re going to create. Get that video game Air Raid siren ready.
