LISTEN: Matt Jones' postgame monologue on another early NCAA Tournament exit for Kentucky
It’s the morning after and last night’s outcome still doesn’t feel real. Kentucky lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to 14-seed Oakland, the fourth straight season the Wildcats have failed to make it out of the first weekend.
Following Jack Gohlke’s three-point outburst (he hit 10 of them, if you haven’t already heard) for the Golden Grizzlies, KSR’s Matt Jones went on the radio to give his thoughts on the game and where Kentucky goes next with head coach John Calipari. Is time for a change of direction between Calipari and UK? That’ll be the biggest question as we head into what will likely be another long offseason.
Listen to everything Jones had to say below.
