Digger Phelps made a fool of himself at College Gameday when he repeatedly yelled, “LISTEN TO ME” to Kentucky fans in the upper deck. “This is Vanderbilt’s day,” he said. “Don’t ruin it for them.”

Whether or not Kentucky fans were wrong for “occupying” Memorial Gym is up for debate, but there’s no question that he was out of line for barking at the crowd. But it made for a good catch phrase.

So, what if Digger intervened more often?
