LIVE: KSR Rapidly Reacts to Denzel Aberdeen's commitment to Kentucky

Mark Pope just keeps on cooking…
The Kentucky men’s basketball head coach landed another player from the portal on Monday, this one coming off a national championship run. Florida guard Denzel Aberdeen announced his decision to transfer to Kentucky after posting per-game averages of 7.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 19.8 minutes as a junior for the Gators in 2024-25. Across 39 games played, the 6-foot-5 native of Orlando shot 35 percent from deep on 2.6 attempts per outing last season. He’ll come to Lexington with one more year of eligibility remaining.
With Aberdeen in the fold, Kentucky is up to 13 players for the 2025-26 roster (including Otega Oweh, who is testing the NBA Draft waters). How does the Florida transfer fit into the picture? The KSR crew is going live on our YouTube channel to break it all down. Join along below!
