Mark Pope has landed what will likely be his starting point guard for the 2025-26 season.

Pitt transfer Jaland Lowe committed to Kentucky on Saturday morning, the second incoming portal prospect so far this offseason. The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 16.8 points, 5.5 assists, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game as a sophomore last season for the Panthers on his way to making Third-Team All-ACC. With two years of eligibility remaining, Lowe’s scoring, playmaking, and ability to play the passing lanes will make an immediate impact for the Wildcats.

With Lowe now on board, the KSR crew is Rapidly Reacting to what his commitment means in the short- and long-term as Pope continues to work the portal during his second offseason. Dive in below and join the conversation!
