Live Stream: KSR's Rapid Reaction to the frustrating loss in Austin

Kentucky missed a big opportunity at Texas. The Wildcats watched a five-point lead disappear late in the game with a series of unforced errors and poor effort down the stretch, losing 82-78 after leading for more than half of the game. Amari Williams played well for Blue; however, he allowed costly offensive rebounds in the end, spoiling his 18-point, 12-rebound double.
Kentucky’s 3-point shooting also failed the Cats in Austin. Before Travis Perry and Otega Oweh hit a couple of meaningless 3s in the end, Kentucky had only four made 3-pointers for the game. One of those came from Williams. None of them were from Koby Brea. That’s a problem.

The lack of ballhandling was also too much to overcome. Kentucky turned it over 15 times, including 10 in the second half.
