Braydon Hawthorne, come on down? Kentucky hosted the top-50 high school recruit on an official visit this week, and now, we have proof of him rocking the blue and white following his time in Lexington.

The four-star wing out of West Virginia shared on social media that he arrived late Tuesday evening, posting a picture from the home of the Wildcats. Today, Hawthorne posted his visit photos — a full gallery featuring his family decked out in Kentucky gear as he tried on what could be his future uniform next season in college.

Oh, and don’t forget about the Mark Pope stamp of approval, the two standing side-by-side as they pointed up to the 2012 national championship banner — Hawthorne expected to help the Wildcats win another one, should he decide to join the show as a Wildcat.

Take a look at the full photoshoot along with his official visit video recap featuring clips of Koby Brea, Otega Oweh, Ansley Almonor, Rob Dillingham, Reed Sheppard and Cason Wallace. Is he next to wear the uniform?

Hawthorne has also spoken to Michigan, Indiana, Kansas State, Arizona State, Marquette, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma State, Dayton and West Virginia since decommitting from the Mountaineers following Darian DeVries’ move to Indiana this offseason.

A late bloomer who measures in at 6-foot-8 with a 7-foot-3 wingspan, the four-star wing has serious upside with shot-making and two-way abilities.

“I’m going to be looking at player development and style of play,” Hawthorne told On3’s Jamie Shaw. “I am pretty versatile, so I can play in a lot of systems, but I have been comfortable playing with a spaced floor and playing freely in a system that shoots threes and where I can make decisions and create with the ball. I also want to play for someone who has had, and developed, guys like me.”

He is rated as the No. 48 overall prospect and No. 11 small forward in On3’s 2025 Rankings, the long-term vision seen as the real prize with Hawthorne. Can Pope help turn that potential into production in Lexington? It’s always been a school the four-star has had his eye on.

“He’s always said that was his dream school,” Huntington Prep head coach Arkell Bruce told KSR+ ahead of the visit.

Time to see where this thing goes from here.
