LOOK: DeAndre Square Mic'd Up for fall football practice
Only 13 days separate us from the start of Kentucky’s 2022 football season. In preparation for the opener against Miami (OH) on Sept. 3 at Kroger Field, the program’s social media team has been giving the Big Blue nation an inside look at what practice has been like during fall camp.
After Kenneth Horsey and JJ Weaver were hooked up with microphones earlier in the month, it was DeAndre Square’s turn to take center stage. Kentucky’s starting inside linebacker is the most recent Wildcat featured in the ongoing “Mic’d Up” segment.
Square takes us inside his mind as he goes through a typical fall practice. There are some intense back-popping stretches, plenty of team leadership, a broken helmet visor, and lots of singing.
