Say what you will about John Calipari, but he's a man of his word. Earlier this week, Kentucky's basketball coach made a little wager with Auburn alum Charles Barkley on TNT. Both men were confident "their" football programs would win on Saturday, and Calipari even bet his beard on it.
“Charles, I’ll shave this beard if Auburn wins,” Calipari told Barkley last Tuesday.

Ultimately, we know how this story ends. Kentucky lost to Auburn on Saturday, and Calipari thus lost his bet and beard. He shared the picture on
Twitter, saying "
I’m a man of my word... But I never said I wouldn't grow it back..."
I think Ellen will have the final say on that. Plus, it looks like Coach Cal did manage to keep the long hair in the back, meaning a man bun could still be in play come basketball season. We'll see what Barkley has to say about that.
