LOOK: Kentucky Football Celebrates Thanksgiving with their Position Groups

@CoachJonSumrall
Thanksgiving came early for the Kentucky football team.
After Wednesday’s practice the Wildcats enjoyed a meal at the homes of their position coaches. God bless Mrs. Schlarman for making enough food to feed more than 15 hungry offensive linemen.

If Lynn Bowden was wise, he’d grab a plate with the quarterbacks at the Hinshaws, then bolt over to the Smiths for seconds with the wide receivers.

Some big dogs enjoyed a meal at the Big Dog’s. I need to know more about Gus’s.

Instead of the traditional Thanksgiving meal, Eddie Gran’s running backs went bowling, an appropriate activity after picking up a sixth win.

Derrick LeBlanc’s defensive linemen and Brad White’s outside linebackers joined forces for one big celebration.

Today the team will have film, a walk through and one big meal together as a team at the Joe Craft Football Training Facility. Tomorrow’s practice will look more like a “run through” to sweat off some of the calories the team packed on today.
