For the first time as Wildcats, portal signees Jaland Lowe, Mo Dioubate, Denzel Aberdeen and Kam Williams rocked Kentucky blue during their official visits this weekend. None of the four had seen Lexington, putting pen to paper without making it to campus — Williams committed before the season was even over, going public just hours before the Sweet 16.

That changed over the last several days, that group checking out their new Kentucky home ahead of their debuts in 2025-26.

Those four were quick to share their excitement after things wrapped up in Lexington, Aberdeen and Williams the first to do so on Sunday, followed by Dioubate and Lowe on Monday. Now, the Kentucky men’s basketball social media accounts shared their own recap of the weekend, highlighted by the four future Wildcats wearing their jerseys for the very first time — including a visit from Mark Pope.

For the two new faces who had never been to Rupp Arena, they found themselves soaking in the moment as their dreams became a reality at the winningest tradition in the history of college basketball.

“It feels amazing, it’s like a dream come true,” Lowe said. “I really still can’t believe I’m here right now. This is everything I’ve dreamed of and more.”

“It’s definitely a blessing,” Williams added. “Not too many people get the opportunity to play for this organization or be in this arena. I’m really just soaking it all in, forever grateful.”

Then you have the two familiar faces from the SEC, Dioubate and Aberdeen — who both played at Rupp before, including this past season. That doesn’t make the moment any less special, trading out Alabama red and Florida orange for Kentucky blue.

“It’s a dream come true, man,” Dioubate said. “Like, I always wanted to play in a Kentucky jersey since I was a kid. To have the opportunity to do that now, I’m blessed.”

“It’s amazing, man, seeing all of the past athletes that have played here,” Aberdeen added. “That’s something I wanted to be a part of.”

They’re right where they belong in Lexington.

In a few short weeks, it’ll be their permanent home as summer workouts are set to begin in June. Who is ready?
