LOOK: Mark Pope and Mark Fox ran into… Kevin Costner?

In this edition of Random Kentucky News, a couple of UK men’s basketball coaches ran into a two-time Academy Award winner.

On Monday, Wildcat associate coach Mark Fox posted a picture of himself and head coach Mark Pope standing next to Kevin Costner, a longtime actor and filmmaker who just so happened to be in the same lobby. It’s tough to tell where exactly this unexpected trio of people is, but the two coaches — rocking some UK gear, of course — sure seem happy to be meeting the TV/movie star.

“If we need a GM or a body guard… we found our guy.” Fox wrote on Instagram. “We had a great conversation.” Just judging off the picture, GM is probably a safer bet for the 70-year-old Costner…
