LOOK: NBA honors Terrence Clarke as honorary selection in 2021 Draft
The NBA pulled off an all-time classy move during the 2021 Draft.
Terrence Clarke, a former Kentucky Wildcat guard, was supposed to hear his name called during Thursday night’s NBA Draft by his future franchise, but his life was tragically taken away from him in April as a result of a car accident. To honor him, the NBA drafted Clarke shortly after the conclusion of the first 15 picks in the 2021 NBA Draft. His mother, sister, and brother were in attendance to receive the honor.
Below is a video of the moment.

Earlier on Thursday, Kentucky head coach John Calipari said some words about Clarke and what this day would have meant for him.
I’ve got a feeling Terrence will be watching down on his teammates tonight and telling them to relax, enjoy the moment and have fun. That was the kind of person he was.
