LOOK: New Kentucky Football Players Working Out on Campus
Summer offseason training is here for the Kentucky football program. In honor of ‘Flex Friday,’ let’s take a closer look at a couple of Cats we have not yet seen since they arrived on campus.
The latest addition to the roster was NC State running back Demie Sumo-Karngbaye. A shifty back that has above average skills as a pass-catcher, he’s bigger than he looks on tape.
Brad White’s Kentucky defense also picked up a late addition from Northern Illinois. Linebacker Daveren Rayner followed offensive tackle Marques Cox to Lexington. The veteran defender from Indianapolis is expected to be LB3, providing depth behind D’Eryk Jackson and Trevin Wallace.

Of all the snapshots shared this week of the Wildcats, nobody looked more impressive than Izayah Cummings. The Louisville Male product has always been light in the shorts compared to his peers, but it looks like the flex can now flex among the best in the locker room. That extra muscle should come in handy in a crowded tight end room this fall.
Kentucky has posted these ‘Flex Friday’ photos for years. KSR was at Kentucky football camp on Thursday when the crew exited the weight room to pose for the camera. There was a joy in the air, but who can blame them? If I worked that hard to gain strength, I’d be excited to show off my muscles too.
