LOOK: Titans release first official pictures of Will Levis in uniform
Will Levis and the rest of the NFL’s 2023 incoming class have spent the last few days in Los Angeles attending the NFLPA Rookie Premiere. While Levis and the other top four quarterbacks taken in the draft have made some slight detours to do things such as rub elbows with the Fanatics CEO in his $70 million mansion and heed some advice from the likes of Tom Brady, they have also done the normal stuff like taking official team photos.
On Saturday, the Tennesee Titans released pictures from one of these photoshoots with Levis wearing his new team’s uniform which also happens to sport his brand-new number.
Levis gets a new number
Levis will rock No. 8 for the Titans because No. 7 belongs to Malik Willis, the quarterback the team took in the third round of the 2022 draft. It must be slightly annoying for him to have to change numbers because of a guy whose job he will likely take, but considering the rocky introduction to the NFL, Levis has had thus far it is probably the least of his concerns.

For what it is worth, Levis was QB08 at the NFL Combine, so perhaps it was meant to be.
These pictures also serve as a good reminder that the Tennessee Titans need to start from scratch when it comes to uniform design. The team finally climbed out of the ’90s back in 2018 when they unveiled their new look, but it is never too soon for another makeover. Tennessee consistently ranks near the bottom of most NFL best-uniform lists and in the era of brighter colors, their plain navy and grey design gives off a grandma’s-curtain level of drabness.
Regardless, Kentucky will likely be swarming with these navy No. 8 jerseys because, despite his draft debacle, Levis is still the best quarterback to emerge from the school since Tim Couch. He might not see the field much this season (which is probably a good thing considering the dearth of talent on the roster), but look for him to seize the starting job by year two…while wearing No. 8.
