LOOK: Vince Marrow delivers Christmas gifts to Mayfield family

The town of Mayfield, KY received the worst of the devastating tornado damage that ripped through western Kentucky and three other states a couple of weeks ago. Lives and homes were lost, and it will take some time for the community to rebuild itself.
Kentucky citizens and people from around the country have been donating to relief funds since the storms, raising upwards of $5 million through multiple platforms. But even still, not everyone will benefit from that money. Considering this tragedy happened not long before the holidays, it was inevitably going to impact how people celebrate.

Vince Marrow, Kentucky Football’s associate head coach, wanted to make sure that at least one family could enjoy the Christmas they deserve. A couple of days before Christmas, the Big Dog went to visit the Valero family in Mayfield, which included 8-year-old Alayah.
LEX18’s Leigh Searcy has the story.
Marrow invited the Valero family to attend Kentucky’s Citrus Bowl matchup against Iowa on New Year’s Day, including a trip to Disney World and some cash to help rebuild the house that they previously lost in the wreckage.
