Dog pooping on Louisville's court is perfect analogy for Cards' season
Sometimes the jokes truly do write themselves when it comes to the University of Louisville.
Last night, the Cardinals lost to Virginia Tech 71-54 to drop to 4-26 on the season, 2-17 in ACC play. It was the final home game of the season at the Yum Center, and at halftime, Cards fans in the stands got the perfect analogy for a truly depressing first season under Kenny Payne: a dog pooped on the court.
Louisville’s halftime entertainment included a frisbee-catching dog, who, on its way off the hardwood, decided to take a crap. The groan from the crowd really seals it.
Louisville closes the regular season at No. 13 Virginia on Saturday and begins ACC Tournament play next Tuesday in Greensboro. Unless Kenny Payne can pull off a miracle, this will mark the worst season in program history since the early 1940s.
Also, good dog.
