Masks will not be required at Louisville basketball home games in 2021-22.

UofL has released its fan information and game day operations for men’s and women’s basketball games this upcoming season, where masks will be recommended, but not required.

“To address health and safety measures, masks are recommended to be worn in all areas of the KFC Yum! Center for UofL events, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status,” the school announced.

Beyond mask protocols, Louisville also announced all concession areas within the KFC Yum! Center will be cashless this season and mobile entry will again be utilized with ticketing for games this season.

UK Athletics has already released its game day guidelines at Rupp Arena this season, with all venues expected to operate at full capacity. Masks will, however, be required for all guests, staff and vendors, regardless of vaccination status.
