LSU used Devery Henderson and the Bluegrass Miracle in its hype video
LSU Football opened an old wound by channeling the Bluegrass Miracle in its pre-Kentucky game hype video for tomorrow’s game.
Not only did LSU’s video team go back to one of Big Blue Nation’s lowest moments to troll us before the second rematch, but the Tigers brought in former wide receiver Devery Henderson to narrate the stupid video. Henderson caught the 74-yard Hail Mary with no time remaining to interrupt Kentucky fans’ field-storming in 2002. Jerk.
“If you ever find yourself backed against a wall,” Henderson says in the new video. “Ripped on and written off and left for dead in an unfamiliar land, check the clock and check your heart. If both are still ticking, it ain’t time to quit. It’s time to finish. Finish the play. Finish the game. Finish what you start. Do that and anything can happen.”
Watch the offensive video below if you dare. It will make tomorrow even sweeter.
You went too far with this one, LSU.
