LSU head coach Johnny Jones took a break from signing work excuses to discuss his team's upcoming challenge against the No. 1 team in college basketball. Jones did not hold back in giving praise to Kentucky; he called it exactly like he, and all of us, see it:
"We're looking forward to another challenge against the No. 1 team in the country, a team that's had a tremendous year. They've been challenged in a lot of games this year, overcoming a lot of obstacles and continuing to be successful. We look forward to playing in front of a great home crowd against one of the greatest teams ever assembled in college basketball."
Jones continued on, saying, "Anytime you win that many games in a row, it says something about those guys willing to accept those challenges."
He hopes his Tigers can upset the Cats in front of LSU's first sellout crowd since 2009.
Good luck with that.
