Lynn Bowden Jr. Asks the BBN to Stand by the Team
The team is fighting, and playing with effort, but experience is vital in this league. Unfortunately early injuries to key players like Davonte Robinson and Terry Wilson provided the absolute worst case scenario for Mark Stoops. Expectations were probably higher than they should have been considering the amount of talent that was lost to the NFL. Still, there have been plenty of opportunities to succeed this season, and for a variety of reasons the team has been unable to put together a full game. On the bright side, the much much needed bye week is here. It is an important week to get healthy, figure out what the plan is offensively, and clean up the gap/tackling mistakes defensively. Bowden Jr. is right in saying that the year is a marathon, not a sprint. This season can still be salvaged, but it's going to take a collective effort from the entire program. We are behind you Lynn. Go Cats. All the negative energy can stay to the left it’s a long season not a race it’s a marathon stay true to us #BBN
