Madden ratings for all former Kentucky players in the NFL
In the sports video game world, all the attention has rightfully been on College Football 25 this summer. With the advent of NIL, EA Sports was finally allowed to (legally) release a truly authentic NCAA game filled with actual players. It is unclear how many families and careers the game has destroyed, but I have to assume most people are like my friends and have only played it a handful of times, despite the hype they put around it.
Lost in the College Football mania, though, is Madden, EA Sports’ tried and true football game that hasn’t gone anywhere. It just dropped and while it has undoubtedly grown a bit stale over the years, every year when the individual rankings are released, they are worth a peek, especially to see how all the former Kentucky players in the NFL stack up.
Freshly hyphenated Josh Hines-Allen tops the list (by a lot) with an overall rating of 91. That makes sense as he just signed a massive five-year, $150 million contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars for this uncanny ability to disrupt the backfield.
Veteran Za’Darius Smith is the only other player above 80, coming in at 83. Smith is back with the Cleveland Browns this year and ready to keep making opposing quarterbacks unable to sleep before a game.

Will Levis came in a little lower than what I expected at 72, but I expect that number to creep up as his first season as the unquestioned starter for the Tennessee Titans progresses.
Rookie draftees Trevin Wallace and Ray Davis slid in with ratings of 70 and 65, respectively, but again, look for these numbers to shift based on how their professional careers unfold.
Without further ado, here are the Madden ratings of all 26 former Kentucky players who are in the game:
