Maddyn Greenway leads EYBL in assists per game through start of Session 2

Kentucky point guard commit Maddyn Greenway just had an incredible junior season of high school ball where she was named Minnesota Gatorade Player of the Year, and now, she’s continuing to do special things in AAU.
Through the start of Session 2, Greenway leads all players on the Nike EYBL circuit in assists per game (7.0). She’s also recording 15.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game for North Tartan. Second place overall — which is on the 16U circuit — is averaging 6.2 assists per game.

Plus, she’s shooting 50% from the field and 40.6% from beyond the arc too. Pretty, pretty good.
On the 17U circuit, the closest to Greenway’s numbers is Jezelle Banks, who’s averaging just 5.6 assists per game. So, that means that the 5-foot-8 five-star leads the 17U circuit by 1.4 assists per game, which is actually a pretty big amount.
Greenway has recorded at least four assists in each of North Tartan’s seven games, even tallying 11 dimes in the team’s last outing. In that game, she also had 17 points and seven steals.
It seems that Kenny Brooks truly landed a superstar of a player in Maddyn Greenway.
