Malik Monk suspended for violating NBA Anti-Drug Program
Less 24 hours after his first NBA start, Malik Monk has been suspended. The NBA just announced that Monk violated the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program and will be suspended without pay until he is in full compliance.

In his third season with the Charlotte Hornets, Monk is averaging 10.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 21.3 minutes per game while shooting 43.4% from the floor. He’s played in 55 games so far this season, and had back-to-back 25 point games last week vs. Minnesota and Chicago. As mentioned earlier, he got his first career start last night vs. the Indiana Pacers, finishing with 8 points and 3 assists in the 119-80 loss.
