Kentucky offensive lineman Marc Nave Jr. transfers to Purdue
Kentucky offensive lineman Marc Nave Jr. was a surprise entrant into spring transfer portal. The class of 2024 was not a free agent for very long. The Toledo (Ohio) Central Catholic product is headed to the Big Ten.
The SEC transfer will be a member of head coach Barry Odom‘s first Purdue team.
Marc Nave Jr. was committed to Ohio State before backing off that pledge during the 2023 season. Kentucky quickly made a move on the three-star prospect and got Nave on campus for an official visit. A commitment shortly followed. Nave played in just one game for UK as a true freshman and entered the transfer portal with four years of eligibility remaining.
Kentucky has seen five members of the 2024 high school signing class enter the portal. Hardley Gilmore IV had a cup of coffee at Nebraska before returning to UK during this spring portal window. Caleb Redd landed at Kansas and Marc Nave Jr. is headed to Purdue. Quavo Marshall and Daniel Mincey are still free agents.
