Mark Pope‘s media tour will stop on Kentucky Sports Radio later this week for a conversation with Matt Jones and the KSR crew. Kentucky‘s new head coach will join the program Friday morning to start the show’s second hour, beginning at 11 a.m. ET. You can tune in via the affiliates listed below or stream the show online at WLAP.com.

The upcoming conversation with Pope (which we appreciate during these busy times) will be KSR’s first time chatting with Pope since Matt asked one question at the introductory press conference in Lexington. On Friday, he will follow up with Pope with questions about the current state of the roster, the new coaching staff, meeting expectations, life in Lexington, and lots more. KSR is very excited about the interview, and we hope the listeners are, too.

Also, Friday’s show will be live from Clark’s Pump-N-Shop on Sandersville Road in Lexington. Listeners are invited to the two-hour broadcast but don’t expect to see Pope because he will be calling in from wherever he happens to be working at that moment. You can meet Ryan Lemond, though.

***** UPDATE *****

Mark Pope delayed his KSR appearance to Monday, April 28, as he and his new coaching staff are in the air to visit a recruit during his previously-scheduled Friday appearance.

KSR is a players first program.
