WATCH: Mark Stoops speaks to media during Kentucky's bye week
Beat Idle! That is what the Kentucky football program is trying to do in Week 6 in the team’s first bye week of the 2024 college football season. Head coach Mark Stoops met with the media following Wednesday’s practice to provide an update on his team.
Stoops believe the team has shown improvement each week since the tough home loss to South Carolina and ramped up the intensity at practice on Wednesday as the Wildcats work on individual fundamentals and begin Vanderbilt prep at the Joe Craft Football Training Facility.
The 12th year head coach also let us know where things stand with Maxwell Hairston and Chip Trayanum but some waiting is still needed.
