WATCH: Mark Stoops speaks for final time before Missouri game

The long week of practice is nearly over. On Saturday night at Kroger Field, the Kentucky Wildcats will get a chance to get a very bad taste out of their mouth when Missouri rolls into the Bluegrass. After a 51-13 pummeling by No. 1 Georgia, Mark Stoops and his football team will be looking to bounce back on Saturday.

On Thursday evening, Stoops met with the media for one final time before a huge swing game in the SEC East.

“Excited to get back here in Kroger Field. Night game. Hopefully, we’ll have great energy and excitement. We need it. We need to bounce back as a football team. I like the response our team has given all week. They’ve done some good things,” Stoops told the media after practice on Thursday. “We have a lot of pride in our program. Didn’t like the effort we gave a week ago in any area.”

It’s time to play some football.
