WATCH: Mark Stoops speaks for final time before Kentucky vs. Ohio
The Kentucky football team made a big jump from Week 2 to Week 3. Now head coach Mark Stoops wants to see his team continue to grow.
After a disappointing Week 2 performance at home against South Carolina, the Wildcats showed pride and resiliency in the near upset of No. 1 Georgia. Now the team needs to keep pushing. There is a lot of ball left to be played.
“I think the most important thing that we can’t ever lose sight of is just getting better,” Mark Stoops told reporters on Thursday. “I’ve told you this and I’ve said it many times, everybody wants to win Saturday when they kick the ball off. How detailed, how committed are you before that?”
We will find out soon if Kentucky made some more positive steps in Week 4 when Ohio rolls into town. Stoops opened up on this week’s game, where the receivers sit after three games, and the challenge the Bobcats will provide on Saturday.
