Mark Stoops moves past Fran Curci on UK's all-time wins list

Tonight marked another milestone for Mark Stoops. Kentucky’s 41-18 win over South Carolina was the 48th of Stoops’ career in Lexington, moving him past Fran Curci into sole possession of second place on the school’s all-time win list. Paul “Bear” Bryant is first on that list at 60.

Earlier this season, Stoops moved past Bryant for most career wins at home. He only needs one more SEC victory to tie Fran Curci for the most in school history (25).

After the game, Stoops told Cole Cubelic that seeing his team get a win on Senior Night meant “everything” to him given the emotional toll of the season. Tomorrow they will decide whether or not to accept a bowl bid.
