WATCH: Mark Stoops' Vanderbilt Postgame Press Conference

Kentucky improved to 4-0 with the 45-28 win over Vanderbilt, but for the fourth game in a row, Mark Stoops wasn’t satisfied. Afterward, Stoops joked that he wanted to take five minutes to enjoy his team’s first SEC win of the season before diving into the various mistakes that plagued the offense for three quarters.

“I’m not exactly ecstatic about it,” Stoops quipped at the start of his postgame press conference. “Can I enjoy it for five more minutes? 4-0 and I’ve been pissed off at every press conference.”

Stoops was much happier when talking about his defense. Maxwell Hairston became the first player in Kentucky Football history with two pick-sixes in a single game. With the offense hitting a wall in the third quarter, D’eryk Jackson intercepted a pass and lateraled it to Maxwell Hairston, who returned the ball to the Vanderbilt 21-yard line. Ray Davis turned that possession into points, his second touchdown of the day.
