Mark Stoops, Vince Marrow call KSR Postgame Show after Florida win
It’s not a big Kentucky Football win without a call from Mark Stoops and/or Vince Marrow on the KSR Postgame Show. Both coaches took a break from their celebrations to chat with Matt about the 20-13 win over No. 10 Florida. If you were celebrating yourself and didn’t hear it live, don’t worry; we’ve got you covered.

First, the Big Dog thanked fans for the unbelievable environment at Kroger Field.
“That atmosphere with the fans, the BBN, that was absolutely freaking crazy,” Marrow said. “I’ve been in Super Bowls, I’ve been in a lot of big games. I’ve never seen anything like that. It was just crazy.”
Marrow also told listeners about a special postgame moment in which he and Stoops, his longtime friend, realized how far they’ve come and how much further they want to go.
“I think there was a point where me, him, and Wan’Dale [Robinson] had a group hug and we said to Wan’Dale, ‘Be glad this is when you came back here for, to help us do this.’ But I had a moment in the locker room with Mark. I went into his private locker room. Me and him, we told each other we love each other and we ain’t done. I think Mark really wants it for these fans.”

Due in large part to the crowd noise, Florida false-started eight times. Stoops couldn’t thank the BBN enough for creating what he called a true SEC home-field advantage.

“Thank you, BBN! BBN was out of their minds tonight,” Stoops said. “Absolutely amazing. They made a difference in the game. The BBN helped us beat Florida. That’s a fact. We had a real home-field advantage tonight. That’s an SEC home-field advantage right there. It made a difference and I can’t thank you enough.”
After Kentucky’s win over South Carolina back in 2014, Stoops called into the postgame show and famously said, “We’re just getting started, bro.” Tonight, he delivered a similar message about Kentucky’s future.
“If we’ve got to continue to build on this and build on it, we’re there. We’re going to go through some ups. We’re going to go through some downs. But we’re there. There’s nothing that can stop this program from going to where we all want to go.”
