Marquise Davis, Kentucky's highest-rated commitment, has flipped to Missouri
Marquise Davis, the nation’s No. 193 overall prospect and Kentucky’s highest-rated commitment in 2025, has officially flipped to Missouri.
The consensus four-star running back out of Cleveland made the switch from the Wildcats to the Tigers late Sunday evening following a visit to Columbia. He had been committed to Kentucky since May.
Davis broke the news with On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
The 5-11, 200-pound senior was the highest-ranked running back to ever commit to Kentucky. He originally picked the Wildcats over Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan and Notre Dame.
Davis is the second player to flip from Kentucky on Sunday alone, joining three-star interior offensive lineman Tucker Kattus — brother of junior tight end Josh Kattus. Rather than taking his talents to Lexington, he’ll be playing for Dabo Swinney at Clemson.

Kentucky now has 19 pledges ahead of the early signing period, which runs from December 4-6. Four-star DL Javeon Campbell is the program’s top commitment, followed by four-star TE Mikkel Skinner, four-star S Martels Carter, four-star CB Andrew Purcell, four-star EDGE Cedric Works and four-star DL Kalen Edwards.
The class is ranked No. 24 nationally and No. 13 in the SEC as things stand today. Will that change in the coming days? It’s not trending in the right direction.
