Official visit season is just under two months away. With the end of spring practice approaching across the college football landscape, final unofficial visits are being wrapped up and summer official visits are getting scheduled.

A top Kentucky offensive target plans to make another trip to Lexington in June.

247 Sports’ Bill Kurelic reports that Cleveland (Ohio) Heights tailback Marquise Davis has locked in official visits to Michigan (June 7-9), Kentucky (June 14-16), and Tennessee (June 21-23). The top-200 recruit is also attempting to get a date locked in with Florida State. Ohio State — who just made a running backs coach change — does not have an official visit locked in with Davis.

The top 10 player in Ohio visited Kentucky for junior day in February. Marquise Davis (5-11, 200) is fresh off an unofficial visit to Michigan where new running backs coach Tony Alford recently made the move from Ohio State to Ann Arbor. The blue-chip recruit rushed for 2,228 yards and 35 touchdowns as a junior.

Marquise Davis is one of the Kentucky’s top remaining uncommitted offensive prospects. Vince Marrow has the Wildcats in good shape, but there is some stiff competition for the Cleveland native. A huge recruiting weekend is coming to Lexington in the second weekend of June.
