Kentucky linebacker Martez Thrower enters the transfer portal
Another Kentucky Wildcat is going portaling. Junior linebacker Martez Thrower has entered the transfer portal, according to On3.
Over three seasons at Kentucky, Thrower totaled 25 tackles in 30 games, his career high (5) coming vs. Akron on Sept. 16. His most memorable moment as a Wildcat came last season when he blocked a punt vs. Youngstown State. Thrower played behind Trevin Wallace throughout the 2023 season at weakside linebacker. He was a three-star recruit coming out of Rochelle, Georgia, ranked No. 583 in the 2021 class by the On3 Industry Ranking.

Thrower is the tenth Kentucky Wildcat to enter the transfer portal this offseason. Destin Wade and Shamar Porter also entered the portal today.
