Do you want to know how to help Mark Pope and the Kentucky basketball program build a championship-caliber roster in his debut season? Club Blue is the answer.

And the new head coach has a must-attend event coming on June 15 to reward participants for their support. His idea? A meet-and-greet with the staff and team, which he plans to be complete by then, exclusive to Club Blue members.

They are helping build the roster from the ground up, after all, Pope stressing that this is the No. 1 way to help the staff add elite talent right away.

“What we’re talking about is the most important thing. Listen, Club Blue is real. This is the focal point of our whole NIL life right now,” Pope told KSR on Monday. “We have some amazing people that are helping to run this. There is no overhead with this program. 100% of the money goes exactly where we want it to go.”

Club Blue is the most direct and impactful way to help with the program’s NIL efforts, Pope says. Fans who subscribe will get to spend time with the team and hang out with the coaches on June 15 — but you have to join by May 15 to earn the invite.

“We’re holding our first meet-the-team event, it’s going to be on June 15. There will be details to come and we’re hoping we’ll have almost a completed roster by then — we should be done, if not completed,” he said. “It’ll be our first opportunity to spend time with the team. We’re making a push right now for as many people in the nation that can join Club Blue, you will make a very tangible and direct impact on this program.

“The event is going to be June 15. Anyone who subscribes to Club Blue before May 15 is going to be invited.”

The venue? That’s to be determined by the fans. If there is enough support, Pope says he’d like to host it inside Kroger Field.

“I’m hoping that Rupp (Arena) is too small to hold this group of people. I’m hoping we have to move into the football stadium, that would be my goal,” he said. “Maybe we do it at the fairgrounds, I’m hoping it has to be that big of a venue.”

Joining is simple. Just head to ClubBlueNIL.com and click on the subscription that best suits you — the Pope $41 Package is an early hit, one that gives you exclusive access to merchandise, entries into a monthly giveaway, a Club Blue Swag Bag, a $15 voucher to the Club Blue Store and a Mark Pope exclusive print.

And now, you’ll get the invite to the biggest event of the summer.

“Be a part of this,” Pope said. “This is our team and that’s what makes this special. I hope everybody jumps on, let’s do this together.”
