This Saturday is your first opportunity to meet many of the football players who will star on the gridiron this fall for Mark Stoops’ Kentucky football team.

The 15 Club Fan Fest is this Saturday at the Central Bank Center. The event is from 1-6 pm, leading into the home basketball game against Georgia at Rupp Arena. The Big Blue Nation will get to meet the players and receive autographs and pictures from 2-5 pm EST.

The 15 Club is the NIL Collective that supports University of Kentucky athletes. It’s not limited to football players, but they are the primary beneficiaries. On signing day Mark Stoops thanked the Big Blue Nation for contributing to The 15 Club, helping Kentucky sign a Top 25 high school class and top 10 transfer portal class.

“Anything that you could do to help (the collective), it helps. It helps our current players,” Stoops said. “I can’t tell you how many people are trying to attack the great players that we have on our team and try to lure them and take them away from us. I think relationships from us won out, along with the help from many people, and I just want to say thanks to the people that have helped and to the people that are going to help in the future.”

Many of the players who signed on the dotted line in December will be at the Central Bank Center this Saturday. It’s your first chance to meet the new play-callers on offense and defense, Brock Vandagriff and Jamon Dumas-Johnson. Most of Kentucky’s high-profile incoming freshmen are excited to meet the BBN for the first time. You can get your picture with the Smith twins and ask Brian Robinson about his favorite breakfast dish.

In addition to the football players, there will also be nine baseball players at The 15 Club Fan Fest, including Devin Burkes, the Most Outstanding Player from the Lexington Regional. You can also meet five members of the UK gymnastics team.
