Miles College leads Kentucky 46-39 at half (Yes, really)
I don’t think any of us expected our Friday nights to start like this, but here we are. Miles College, a Division II school in Fairfield, Alabama, leads your University of Kentucky Wildcats 46-39 at halftime.
What happened? The Golden Bears are 11-15 from three, that’s what. Meanwhile, the Cats can’t get much of anything going on offense or defense. Kellan Grady is doing his best to lead the Cats back, hitting three three-pointers en route to 11 points, but it feels like every time Kentucky gets a run going, Miles silences it with a three. TyTy Washington has eight points and Sahvir Wheeler seven. The frontcourt is largely absent minus a few big plays by Jacob Toppin, who made his first appearance of the season.
Here’s the box score for you to look at. Or print and throw in the trash.
