[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="1200"] @KentuckyMBB[/caption] Kentucky never lost to the University of Missouri, until today.  UK's perfect 10-0 record against the Tigers was tarnished after an abysmal offensive performance dug the Cats into a hole too deep to recover. In the first half Kentucky scored just 18 points and had as many made field goals as turnovers (6).  Shai Gilgeous-Alexander gave the Cats hope for another miraculous comeback by scoring eight points in the first four minutes of the second half, but his spark could not ignite Kentucky's stone-cold offense. Kentucky's three-point streak came dangerously close to ending.  Wenyen Gabriel kept it alive for one more game by hitting one from the corner with 2:53 to play.  The Cats were still just 2-20 from long range and shot just 31.3 percent from the field.  Despite their offensive ineptitude, Kentucky found a way to put together a decent comeback effort, but it happened about five minutes too late. After another slow start and a historically bad offensive performance, this Kentucky team needs a tweak or two. [mobile_ad]
