Mizzou Arena is now sold out for Kentucky (shocker)
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Kentucky will travel to a sold-out venue for a true road game.
The Wildcats are set to take on the Missouri Tigers in Columbia on Wednesday to open the conference schedule. Coming off its largest win over a ranked foe in over a decade — 12 years to be exact — Mizzou Arena is now sold out for the battle.
Missouri announced the sellout on Christmas Eve, quite the gift for a program led by new head coach Dennis Gates. The Tigers enter the matchup with an 11-1 record, the lone loss coming against No. 6 Kansas (95-67) back on Dec. 10.

Elsewhere, Mizzou has earned wins vs. Wichita State, Central Florida and No. 16 Illinois, the latter being a 22-point win in St. Louis.
Now, the Tigers are set to host No. 19 Kentucky in Columbia in front of yet another rowdy crowd.
ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives the Wildcats a 65.6% chance to take home the true road win, potentially their first of the season.
The head-to-head matchup will tip off at 7 p.m. ET, broadcast live on SEC Network.
