West Virginia commit Montavin Quisenberry locks in official visit to Kentucky
The House v. NCAA settlement reaching a preliminary agreement in a California courtroom this week. This gives college football programs 20 more scholarships to spend in recruiting, with roster limits expanding from 85 scholarships to 105 scholarships. We can expect the 2025 high school signing classes to be larger than normal. Kentucky is moving quickly with 18 current commits in the fold.
Danville (Ky.) Boyle County standout Montavin Quisenberry has been on UK’s campus several times but never locked in an official visit with the Wildcats over the summer. Instead, the three-star prospect took an official visit to West Virginia and quickly committed to Neal Brown‘s program in June.
The winds could be changing in that recruitment.
KSR has confirmed that Kentucky will host Montavin Quisenberry for an official visit this weekend with Vanderbilt in town. The class of 2025 prospect has rushed for 439 yards on 10.2 yards per rush, along with 22 receptions for 401 yards as a senior. Quisenberry has scored 14 total touchdowns and is a clear top contender for Mr. Football playing on a nationally ranked Boyle County squad.
The prospect projects to play wide receiver at the collegiate level. Kentucky has three current wide receiver commits in the 2025 class but only eight scholarship wideouts on the 2024 roster. Wide receivers coach Daikiel Shorts Jr. needs more depth, and the increased scholarship numbers gives Kentucky some more wiggle room at the position.

Is Vince Marrow ready to break out the spatula for this Big 12 commit? Only time will tell, but the Wildcats getting Montavin Quisenberry on campus for an official visit is a very significant development with the Early Signing Period now less than two months away.
