Recently, KSR released an article that provides a good layout on how to start your EA College Football 25 rebuild. However, after watching my 48-year-old father buy a PS5 to play this game, I knew it was time to drop more content.

While I’ve spent most of my time scrolling the menus of Dynasty trying to bring a top-25 recruiting class to JMU, my Dad has been cruising with Kentucky on the play now. This game provides a unique opportunity for each generation to enjoy the game differently.

For those a bit older, the breathtaking graphics and atmosphere are intoxicating. And for diehard Kentucky fans like us, it’s easy to get lost in hearing the “Blue, White” chants and using Chip Trayanum to carve up defenses or using the best receiver on the game, Barion Brown, to score countless touchdowns. On the other hand, the game has 134 teams to choose from and claims to provide a unique experience with each.

Now, here at KSR, we want to provide you with some go-to fun play now teams. Whenever your friends are talking trash, or you want to get lost in a new atmosphere, we are here to give you three new teams to use on EA College Football 25.

1. Arizona Wildcats

No, we’re not talking about Tommy Lloyd‘s crew. The Wildcats of U of A are the most fun team to use on EA College Football this season. Widely regarded as one of the best playbooks in the game, Brent Brennan’s offense is an absolute joy to get lost in. Entering their first year in the Big 12, Arizona has countless matchups that you can play through.

Rising junior WR Tetairoa McMillan is an absolute monster at a 94 OVR, and his 6-foot-5 frame is impossible for opponents to guard. Other 90 overalls on the Wildcats include CB Tacario Davis (92) and OL Jonah Savaiinaea (90).

However, please don’t sleep on my pick to win the Davey O’Brien Award this season, Noah Fifita. The junior QB was left out of the top 100 players in the game, but he is entertaining to use. Arizona may have the most fun offense in the game.

2. Missouri Tigers

Staying on that same team style, we head over to Brady Cook and the Missouri Tigers. The men from Columbia, MO, are one of the most slept-on teams in the SEC, and they can cause havoc this season (road to Atlanta?). Brady Cook is an 88 OVR and is an excellent play-caller who can do whatever you need on the field. He’s another quarterback who gets lost in the shuffle of the Shadeur Sanders and Jaxson Darts of the world. However, those two QBs are not throwing to the BEST receiver in college football, Luther Burden III.

The junior WR is ranked as the second-best receiver (behind Travis Hunter) and is an absolute dawg on the game. Nothing is more fun than putting Burden on a streak and letting him get it. On the other hand, just like Arizona, their defense is really lacking. So, if you pick Missouri, be ready for a shoot-out.

3. North Carolina Tar Heels

Now, I’m just as much of a Kentucky fan as all of you; that light blue still does not sit right with me at all. However, it’s really tough not to love Mack Brown.

And to be honest, in the ACC, which consists of Louisville, Clemson, and Duke, it’s not that hard to find teams easily more hatable than the Tar Heels (IN FOOTBALL). Now, after getting that out of the way, North Carolina is entertaining to use on the game. They have my favorite running back in college football, Omarion Hampton (93 OVR), and have gorgeous jerseys.

The fun with North Carolina is filling the question marks. They have two capable QBs, Max Johnson and Conner Harrell, so it truly depends on your style of offense. Also, Carolina’s defense flies around, and they have an edge in Kaimon Rucker (91 OVR) that completely changes the game. North Carolina provides a good mix of fun offense with a good defense.
