That was clear following Kentucky’s gutsy win over Tennessee in Knoxville, Stacey Sheppard running over to Edwards and giving him a massive bear hug before he spoke to the media.
“After the season I’ve had, she’s been one of the people really rooting for me,” Edwards said of the interaction. “She was just telling me to stay the course. That’s why she’s so hyped for me.”
