Kentucky is finalist for junior college cornerback Myles Norwood

Kentucky surprised many folks earlier this offseason when the Wildcats landed a couple of commitments in the secondary. The program could be getting another one this week.
Iowa Western cornerback Myles Norwood has emerged as a prospect of note for the Wildcats, and the junior college player is planning on making a decision on June 15. Kentucky has been tabbed as one of the four finalists for the transfer.
Joining Indiana, Iowa State, and Syracuse, Kentucky was one of the four schools named by St. Louis Trinity Catholic product on Wednesday. In May, Norwood took an official visit to Iowa State to check out what Matt Campbell’s program had to offer.
Myles Norwood was a track star in high school who reports having a long jump over 24 feet and a triple jump over 50 feet. The defensive back prospect redshirted this past season at Iowa Western and is looking to be a redshirt freshman at a Power Five program in 2022.
