2025 five-star forward Nate Ament has arrived in Lexington for his Kentucky official visit, sources tell KSR+. He is set to attend the Kentucky vs. Tennessee basketball game at Rupp Arena on Tuesday night.

The 6-foot-9, 185-pound small forward from Highland (Manassas, VA) started his visit on Monday night. He was spotted with his father, trainer, and agent at Jeff Ruby’s in Lexington shortly after arriving.

Ament is down to a final 11 of Alabama, Arkansas, BYU, Duke, Georgetown, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Texas. He’s already taken official visits to Texas, Louisville, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Duke.

Ament was in attendance for the Kentucky vs. Tennessee game in Knoxville on Jan. 28th. He’s now back for the rematch.

Who’s Carrying the Momentum?

Nate Ament is officially considering 11 schools, but a few schools have carried the momentum of late. On3’s Jamie Shaw wrote on Feb. 7th that Duke and Louisville are carrying the momentum for Ament.

However, that’s not to count out Kentucky. Shaw said Kentucky is in “striking distance” along with Tennessee and Notre Dame.

Ament has not taken any official visits to Alabama, Arkansas, BYU, and Georgetown. Shaw reports that he is unlikely to take visits to those schools.
