The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and Kentucky has swept the Tennessee Volunteers. There is nothing more beautiful in this world than beating UT, and to say you’ve done it twice in a matter of weeks is just icing on the cake.

Better yet, doing it twice in a matter of weeks with the No. 3 recruit in high school basketball in attendance both times is the icing on the cake.

Nate Ament, the top target on Kentucky’s board for 2025 and one of the best talents in the country, was a special guest on behalf of the Volunteers in the first matchup down in Knoxville. As you remember quite well, the Wildcats pulled off the 78-73 victory in that one, Koby Brea leading the way with 18 points, followed by Jaxson Robinson with 17, Otega Oweh with 14, Ansley Almonor with 12 and Amari Williams with 10.

Tennessee is one of 11 schools left in the running for the five-star forward and one of six to receive an official visit as he inches toward a final decision. He previously took officials to Tennessee, Louisville, Duke, Notre Dame and Texas.

Now, his trip to Lexington makes six, in town this week to witness a second big-time win over those dorks in orange, the Cats beating the Vols 75-64 despite entering the matchup as a home underdog.

Ament arrived Monday for his official visit and stayed through Tuesday night as a special guest for Kentucky’s double-digit victory with four players finishing in double figures in a ridiculous Rupp Arena environment.

The UK staff chatted with the prized target shortly following Mark Pope’s press conference to wrap up the win, then continued the conversation in the back — hopefully convincing Ament that Lexington is home after a brilliant performance in front of the best fanbase in sports.

Come on down, Nate Ament. How could you not want to be a part of this?
