NBA2K16 will feature college basketball teams in the upcoming game

by:Courtney Hessler07/21/15
Davis After the recent issues with the NCAA video game lawsuit it wasn't clear if college sports would be returning to video games any time soon. For obvious reasons, it's probably best it doesn't unless the players would get a fair amount of pay for using their likeness. Although NCAA Football just ended, the basketball series ended back in 2010 after low sales. But over the last week or so it has been reported NBA2K16 will feature 11 different universities after 2k Sports was given license from the schools (UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State, Connecticut, Georgetown, Kansas, Louisville, Michigan, Texas, Villanova and Wisconsin). NBA2k16 also tweeted out this photo last week: You can look up the licenses here, but since the original reports came out, no schools are currently listed as having the license any more.  There is a good chance this is something for the career mode since adding college teams might make it more realistic. Do you all think college sports needs to make a return to video games or should it be left alone?   @Hessler_KSR
