New Kentucky WR Coach L'Damian Washington is Mic'd Up at Spring Practice

March Madness has consumed the country, but the college football world continues to move. Spring practices are underway across the country, and that includes your University of Kentucky Wildcats.
Mark Stoops’ team will be back in action Monday morning. There’s an unfamiliar face on the sideline this season. L’Damian Washington is entering his first season at Kentucky after pitstops at Oklahoma and South Florida. The former Missouri wide receiver kicked his career off working in a player development role for his alma mater.
The Shreveport native is tasked to change the culture of a wide receiver room that saw significant transformation this offseason. “We have to be blue collar. We have to be gritty,” Washington said shortly after he arrived.
The new Kentucky wide receivers coach brings an exceptional level of effort and energy whenever he’s instructing his players. Take a close look yourself.
